The fact that Hard Reset is an indie game amazes me – it is so well-polished that I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had come from one of the major game studios. The gameplay is, for the most part, pretty standard FPS fare, and the story isn’t really that much to write home about, but it does look fantastic. There are some RPG elements as well - you can choose your upgrades to adapt to your weapon/armour preferences. The enemies’ AI is pretty good and this means some of the later enemies and bosses can be rather difficult to defeat.
