‘Jamestown’ is a fun little shoot ‘em up that has a great art style, a good story and a very approachable learning curve that will appeal to relative newcomers to the genre, such as myself. As you progress through the relatively short campaign, you can buy different ships with differing weapons and attack styles that add a bit more replay value to the game, and there no fewer than 5 difficulty levels to advance through, as you become more confident with your alien-killing abilities. I would advise using a gamepad to play ‘Jamestown’ as it gives the best playing experience.
